OCU draws Oklahoma Baptist

Stars go to 3-2-1 in conference play

Keren Sharabi scored her first goal of the season against Oklahoma Baptist.

Box Score OKLAHOMA CITY – Oklahoma City University tied Oklahoma Baptist 1-1 after two overtime periods Tuesday night at Stars Field.
Keren Sharabi scored the lone goal for the Stars. OCU went to 5-5-1, 3-2-1 in Sooner Athletic women's soccer.
Mikayla Lowery scored in the 42nd minute to give Oklahoma Baptist the lead.
In the 50th minute Allison Worsham, a junior from Edmond, Okla., got taken down in the 18-yard box by the Oklahoma Baptist goalkeeper to give the Stars a penalty kick. Sharabi, a senior from Petach-Tichva, Isreal, stepped up and buried the ball in the back of the net to tie the score.
Oklahoma Baptist held the 23-10 shot advantage but neither team was able to score in the overtime periods.
Angela Clifton, a junior from Bethany, Okla., collected nine saves in 110 minutes of play.
OCU travels to Mid-America Christian 1 p.m. Saturday at Evangel Field.
