Stars go 3-0 in Cumberlands Duals

OCU starts season 5-0

Kayla Aggio completed two pins in the Cumberlands Duals.

WILLIAMSBURG, Ky. – Oklahoma City University reeled in three victories in women's wrestling on Friday at the Cumberlands intramural gym in the Cumberlands Duals.
The Stars, ranked second in the Women's College Wrestling Association, mauled Cumberlands (Ky.) Red 45-2 and blasted Lindenwood (Mo.) Gold 37-5. OCU also squeaked by No. 4 Campbellsville (Ky.) 25-22.
Emily Webster, a senior from Sedalia, Mo., won all three of her matches without giving up a point at 101.
Shelby Morrison, a junior from Amarillo, Texas, completed sweeps in her competitions.
Against Campbellsville, OCU gathered victories from Webster, Morrison, Cody Pfau, Rachel Archer and Kayla Aggio. Aggio's fall made the difference.
OCU rolled over Cumberlands Blue with pins from Aggio, Archer, Morrison, Pfau, Demi Strub and Heather O'Connor.
The Stars complete the Cumberland Duals starting 10 a.m. Saturday.
