OCU's Holasek named SAC softball player of the week

Holasek hit three homers, drIves in nine runs in eight games for Stars

Kyndra Holasek is hitting .389 with 25 RBIs.

OKLAHOMA CITY – Oklahoma City University's Kyndra Holasek was named Sooner Athletic Conference softball player of the week for March 11-17.
Holasek, a freshman second baseman from Mustang, Okla., hit .417 with two doubles, a triple and three home runs for a .958 slugging percentage as the Stars went 8-0. She also had nine RBIs and scored 12 runs.
On the season, Holasek is second on the team in RBIs (25) and stolen bases (10) and third in batting average (.389). The freshman second baseman ranks second in NAIA softball in runs scored (36) and 10th in triples (3).
The fourth-ranked Stars are 24-4 on the season and have won 18 straight games.
