“I am very proud of the effort from our team to be in this position,” OCU coach Latricia Trammell said. “We still have two regular-season games left, and we want to make sure we stay focused and continue to move forward. Our team chemistry and work ethic got us here. Now we need to build on this achievement.”
Gober brought her career point total to 1,605 while increasing her OCU career-record 3-point basket total to 289.
Katie Hall, a senior from Hazelton, Idaho, recorded her team-high 10th double-double, totaling 20 points and 15 rebounds, while Desiree Jeffries, a senior from Oklahoma City, posted 17 points, five rebounds and four assists for the Stars.

The Stars built a 23-5 advantage early using Pugh's lay-in with 13:31 to go in the first half. St. Gregory's hit 2 of its first 5 shots from the field while losing eight turnovers.
OCU's largest lead came with 1:40 left in the game. Kayla MacKenzie's free throws capped a 14-2 Stars run to put OCU ahead 100-52. The Stars reached 100 points for the fourth time this season.
