OKLAHOMA CITY – Oklahoma City University's Allison Worsham was named Sooner Athletic Conference women's soccer offensive player of the week for Oct. 27-Nov. 3.
Worsham, of Edmond, Okla., scored two goals and assisted on another in two wins for the 20th-ranked Stars. The sophomore forward scored a goal in OCU's 2-0 win over Texas Wesleyan and notched a goal and an assists in the Stars' comeback victory against USAO.
Worsham is second on the team in points (25), goals (10) and assists (5) this season. Worsham has scored 28 goals so far during her OCU career.
The Stars, currently 12-4 overall and 8-1 in SAC play, will open SAC Tournament play Saturday. OCU will likely receive the top seed and host Mid-America Christian at Stars Field.
