OCU's Black earns SAC player of the week

Black scores six goals in two games, named offensive player of the week

Adam Black scored six goals in two games and was named SAC offensive player of the week.
OKLAHOMA CITY – Adam Black of Oklahoma City University was named Sooner Athletic Conference men's soccer offensive player of the week for Oct. 21-27.
Black, a senior forward from Liverpool, England, had six goals on the week. He had four goals and an assist in an 8-0 win over Oklahoma Baptist and two goals in a 3-2 loss to Mid-America Christian.
Black leads the team and the SAC with 13 goals this season and is fifth in the NAIA in shots per game (5.4) and eighth in shots on goal per game (2.7). He upped his career total to 39 goals and has now scored double-digit goals in each of his three seasons at OCU.
The Stars, now 7-5-2 overall and 3-2-2 in SAC play, sit seventh in the conference standings with three games remaining.
