Stars' Worsham chosen SAC women's soccer player of week

Freshman from Edmond, Okla., notches first career nod from league

OKLAHOMA CITY – Oklahoma City University's Allison Worsham became Sooner Athletic Conference women's soccer offensive player of the week for Sept. 10-16.
Worsham, a freshman from Edmond, Okla., scored two goals in each of OCU's wins over MidAmerica Nazarene (Kan.) and Bacone. She added an assist against MNU.
On the year, Worsham stands tied with Meghan McMahon for the team lead with five goals. Worsham ranks second on the squad with 12 points while adding two assists.
Worsham ranks 20th among the NAIA in points per contest (3.0) and 21st in goals per match (1.25). To see where OCU ranks statistically among NAIA women's soccer, click here.
The Stars, ranked fifth in the NAIA, remained unbeaten at 4-0 and knocked off previously undefeated MidAmerica Nazarene.
