Stars' Black earns SAC offensive player of the week award

Adam Black posted a hat trick against Lubbock Christian and notched an assists against Wayland Baptist

Adam Black leads the Stars with 12 goals and four assists this season.

OKLAHOMA CITY – Adam Black of Oklahoma City University was named Sooner Athletic Conference men's soccer offensive player of the week for Oct. 15-21 Monday.
Black, a junior forward from Liverpool, England, had three goals and an assist in wins over Lubbock Christian (Texas) and Wayland Baptist (Texas). He turned in a hat trick against LCU in a 4-2 win and assisted the game-winning goal in the win over the Pioneers.
Black leads the Stars in goals (12) and assists (4) and ranks fifth in NAIA men's soccer in shots per game (5.2).
The Stars will return to action against St. Gregory's at 3 p.m. Tuesday at Fr. Victor Roberts Field in Shawnee, Okla.
