OCU blanks Mid-America Christian 1-0

The Stars move to 5-5-4 on the season and 3-3-2 in SAC play

Adam Black scored his 11th goal of the season against Mid-America.

Box Score OKLAHOMA CITY – Oklahoma City University men's soccer shut out Mid-America Christian 1-0 Tuesday at Evangel Field.
With the win the Stars move to 5-5-4 on the season and 3-3-2 in Sooner Athletic Conference play.
In the 15th minute freshman Adam Black scored the games only goal when he beat Mid-America goalkeeper Cody English to score his 11th goal of the season and make the score 1-0.
OCU locked down on defense only allowing Mid-America six shots on goal on the match.
Sophomore goalkeeper Jalen Howard made his second start of the season, and took advantage stopping all six shots he faced in 90 minutes to record the shutout.
The Stars outshot Mid-America 22-9 on the match and recorded 14 shots on goal.
OCU will return home for the final home match of the season against the University of Science and Arts of Oklahoma at 7 p.m. at Stars Field.
