Alex Gang scored his sixth and seventh goals of the season on Saturday.

OKLAHOMA CITY – The Oklahoma City University men's soccer team scored the 4-0 victory over Wayland Baptist (Texas) at Stars Field on Saturday.

OCU (8-4-1, 4-2-1) was led by Alex Gang, a senior from Seoul, South Korea, who netted two second-half goals in the match. Gang's first goal came in the 60th minute, with an assist going to Kyle Davies, a freshman from Durban, South Africa. Gang connected for his second goal on the night in the 64th minute, just 3:46 later.

The scoring started for the Stars in the 34th minute when Steven Short, a junior from Durban, South Africa, punched the ball in for the score. The play unfolded after the Pioneers goalkeeper saved Stuart Hilton's shot and knocked the ball back into the field of play. The rebound shot by Short found the mark to get OCU on the board.

Chris Spendlove, a senior from Liverpool, England, netted the Stars second goal of the game in the 37th minute. John Dill, a senior from Broken Arrow, Okla., put a free kick into play, getting credit for the assist on the Spendlove score.

OCU held Wayland Baptist without a shot in the match while taking 32 shots of its own. Everyone on the Stars roster had a chance to contribute in the game as all 21 players took the field of play in the match.

The Stars next travel to Lubbock Christian (Texas) on Tuesday for a 3 p.m. match.
