OKLAHOMA CITY – Oklahoma City's Andy Fitzpatrick has earned Sooner Athletic Conference men's soccer defensive player of the week for Aug. 31-Sept. 7.
Fitzpatrick, a 6-3 junior keeper from Kansas City, Mo., had five saves in a 3-0 win over LSU-Shreveport in OCU's lone match of the week.

OCU, ranked third in the NAIA, has gone 1-0-1 to begin the year. The Stars face Texas Wesleyan at 7 p.m. Tuesday in Fort Worth, Texas.
