OKLAHOMA CITY – Oklahoma City University's Alex Gang has been named Sooner Athletic Conference men's soccer offensive player of the week for Oct. 26-Nov. 1.

Gang, a junior from Seoul, South Korea, scored three goals on the week. He had two in a 3-0 win at Oklahoma Baptist and one in a 1-1 tie against USAO, ranked 21st in the NAIA.

Gang has posted 18 goals and two assists for 38 points this year. The 6-foot forward has three matches this season with multiple goals, including the Sept. 12 contest against Trevecca Nazarene (Tenn.) where Gang scored four times.

The Stars (13-2-2, 6-1-1 Sooner Athletic Conference) conclude the regular season against Southern Nazarene at 7 p.m. in Bethany, Okla.
