OKLAHOMA CITY – Sarah Burnett, Alex Miley and Brittany Tibbs of Oklahoma City University were named CoSIDA ESPN the Magazine college-division academic all-district 6.

Miley, a junior from Edmond, Okla., made the first team. Miley has compiled a 3.89 grade-point average majoring in biology. She has posted one goal, two assists and four points this year.

Burnett, a junior from Norman, Okla., was on the second team. Burnett will graduate with a biology degree while carrying a 4.02 GPA. Burnett has scored four times and assisted on another goal for nine points.

Tibbs, a junior from Kansas City, Mo., took second-team honors. Tibbs has a 3.94 GPA pursuing a double major in biomedical sciences and kinesiology. She has put together 11 shutouts in 14 matches.

The Stars have a 9-4-1 record, 6-1-1 in the Sooner Athletic Conference entering Friday's match against USAO.
