OKLAHOMA CITY – Oklahoma City University's Jason Gidney captured the Sooner Athletic Conference men's soccer offensive player of the week for Oct. 19-25.

Gidney, a junior midfielder from Edmond, Okla., turned in a hat trick with three goals in a 7-0 victory against Wayland Baptist (Texas) on Oct. 19 at Stars Field.

For the year, Gidney has tallied 10 goals, three assists and 23 points.

The Stars (12-2-1, 5-1 SAC) face Oklahoma Baptist at 3 p.m. Tuesday in Shawnee, Okla.
