OKLAHOMA CITY – Oklahoma City University's Malin Andersson has been named Sooner Athletic Conference women's soccer offensive player of the Week for Oct. 5-11.

Andersson, a junior from Huskvarna, Sweden, had two goals in a win over Mid-America Christian and an assist with a corner kick in a 1-0 win over John Brown (Ark.) to average 2.5 points per contest.

For the year, Andersson has recorded five goals, one assist and 11 points. She ranks second on the team in goals and points.
