BALDWIN CITY, Kan. – Oklahoma City University's women's soccer team picked up its first win of the year over Baker (Kan.) 1-0 in overtime Saturday morning at the North Park Fields in the MidAmerica Nazarene Invitational.
Caroline Dixon, a freshman from Manchester, England, led the Stars to victory, scoring the game-winning goal in overtime. Dixon also led the team with 14 shots and four shots on goal for the match.
The Stars' goalie Brittany Tibbs, a sophomore from Kansas City, Mo., led the defense with four saves.
OCU improved to a 1-3-1 record and will face Texas Wesleyan on Tuesday at 5 p.m. on Stars Field.
