OCU advances in SAC women's tournament with 4-0 win over USAO

Caroline Dixon had two goals for the Stars.

OKLAHOMA CITY – Oklahoma City University advanced to the semifinals of the Sooner Athletic Conference women's soccer tournament on Saturday afternoon, defeating USAO 4-0 at Stars Field.

Caroline Dixon, a freshman from Manchester, England, led the Stars' offense in the match, scoring twice for OCU. The Stars play the tournament semifinal vs. Oklahoma Christian at 6 p.m. Tuesday at Stars Field.

OCU, ranked 24th in the NAIA, improved to 14-4-1.

Malin Andersson, a sophomore from Huskvarna, Sweden, scored the first goal for the Stars in the sixth minute of the match and was assisted by Dixon. Lauren Kolker, a freshman from Choctaw, Okla., had the second goal for the Stars and was assisted by Alex Miley, a sophomore from Edmond, Okla.
