OCU men knock off USAO 3-2

CHICKASHA, Okla. – Oklahoma City University beat USAO 3-2 on Tuesday afternoon on John Dill's goal in the 35th minute.

Chris Spendlove, a sophomore from Liverpool, England, provided the assist on the goal that put OCU up 3-1. The Stars, ranked highest in their history at second in NAIA men's soccer, improved to 14-1, 6-0 in the Sooner Athletic Conference.

The Stars' offense was led by Damon Ellis, a freshman from Chester-Le-Street, England, who had three shots on goal and the second goal for the Stars in the 28 th minute. Brandon Hull, a junior from Yukon, Okla., started the Stars' offense with the first goal of the match in the eighth minute. 

OCU keeper Andy Fitzpatrick, a sophomore from Kansas City, Mo., had eight saves in the match.

The Stars take on eighth-ranked Southern Nazarene on Saturday at 7 p.m. at Stars Field.
