OKLAHOMA CITY ? Oklahoma City University used 33 turnovers by John Brown (Ark.) to its advantage in a 66-49 win on Thursday at Abe Lemons Arena.
The Stars converted those John Brown miscues into 34 points. OCU built a 25-point lead late in the game.
OCU, ranked 20th in NAIA Division I women?s basketball, moved to 23-6, 11-6 in the Sooner Athletic Conference. John Brown fell to 7-21, 4-13.
Alexandra Kotta, a senior from Germantown, Md., had 17 points and six steals for OCU.
Viola Beybeyah chipped in 11 points, 12 rebounds and three steals.
The Stars had only 16 giveaways.

OCU put together a 10-2 run to go ahead 64-39 with 3:06 remaining. Beybeyah started the run with a follow shot, then
