THE MATCHUP:
Oklahoma City University takes on Sooner Athletic Conference rival Oklahoma Baptist on Saturday. The two regular-season OCU-OBU contests last season were decided by a point each.

ABOUT THE STARS:
OCU fell to Oklahoma Christian 63-48 on Thursday at the Eagles Nest in the Backyard Brawl. The Stars went to 15-4, 4-4 in the Sooner Athletic Conference.
Chelsea Ledbetter
, a 5-foot-8 sophomore from Norman, Okla., had a team-high 13 points to go with seven rebounds. Romana Vynuchalova, a 6-4 junior from Bratislava, Slovakia, added 12 points.
Alexandra Kotta
, a 5-11 senior from Germantown, Md., leads the Stars with 14.9 points, six rebounds and three steals per game. Kotta ranks 14th in the NAIA in steals.
The Stars are ranked 10th in the NAIA Division I. OCU won the Sooner Athletic Conference regular-season and tournament championships last season. In the preseason, OCU has been favored to defend its conference crown, tied with Lubbock Christian (Texas) for the top spot in the poll.
OCU is eighth in the nation in points allowed with 55.1 points per game. The Stars owns a 31-16 advantage in the series with Oklahoma Baptist. OCU beat Oklahoma Baptist 84-68 in the SAC Tournament semifinals on March 4, 2006 in the most previous meeting.

ABOUT THE LADY BISON:
Oklahoma Baptist defeated St. Gregory?s 73-46 on Thursday at W.P. Wood Field House. Oklahoma Baptist went to 10-7, 4-3 in the SAC.
Jennifer Jupin, a 5-9 sophomore, had a game-high 20 points and four steals for Oklahoma Baptist. Keely Tolin, a 5-8 junior, added 10 points and three assists.
Jupin averages 13.1 points and 1.53 steals per game. Oklahoma Baptist leads the nation in field-goal percentage defense (32.9 percent). OBU is also second in the NAIA with 4.88 blocks per game, led by Lena Brenning?s 1.65, which ranks 15th nationally.

ABOUT THE COACHES: Rob Edmisson
has a 349-126 record in 16 seasons as a head coach. Edmisson took the Stars to the NAIA quarterfinals and a 32-3 record his first season at OCU. Edmisson coached the only player drafted into the WNBA at OCU, Mariam Sy. He won 192 games at Hutchinson (Kan.) and 110 as a high-school coach in Kansas.
John McCullough
is 129-71 in his seventh season at Oklahoma Baptist. McCullough has a 164-140 record in 10 seasons as a head coach. He was the 1979 Big Eight most valuable player at Oklahoma.
