SILOAM SPRINGS, Ark. ? Oklahoma City University recorded its fifth shutout of the season in getting a 2-0 women?s soccer victory over John Brown (Ark.) on Tuesday.
Jessica Caudle, a sophomore from Oklahoma City, got the Stars going with the first goal. Sarah Leonard booted a cross to Caudle, who found the far post for the score.
On the second goal, Leonard took advantage of a one-on-one opportunity with the goalkeeper. Christin Baker provided the assist for Leonard.
The Stars improved to 8-2-1, 6-1-1 in the Sooner Athletic Conference. John Brown fell to 3-8-1, 3-4-1.
OCU had 19 shots to John Brown?s 10. OCU goalkeeper Alycia Allenby recorded six saves.
The Stars take on St. Gregory?s at 5 p.m. Saturday at Stars Field.
