Oklahoma Baptist wins in double overtime over Stars

OKLAHOMA CITY ? Oklahoma City University failed to take advantage of opportunities in a 1-0 double-overtime loss to Sooner Athletic Conference foe Oklahoma Baptist in women?s soccer on Saturday at Stars Field.
Hilary Hendrickson scored a sudden-victory goal 107:25 into the game, catching OCU goalkeeper Megan Griffin out of goal. The Stars, ranked 14th in NAIA, fell to 9-2-1, 1-2 in conference play. OBU is now 8-2-1.
OCU held advantages in shots (15-10) and corner kicks (17-2). Erika Garbrecht, a freshman from Yukon, Okla., led OCU on Saturday with five shots. Garbrecht took four of those on headers off corner kicks.
?We had enough chances,? OCU coach Brian Harvey said. ?We didn?t take our chances. We created enough chances to win three or four games.?
The Stars face Dakota Wesleyan at 1 p.m. Sunday at Stars Field.
