Emily Furr scored a first half goal off a free kick and improved the Stars record to 5-1-3.
After losing its season opener, OCU has not suffered another loss in the following eight games and has recorded four wins and one tie in the last five contests.
Near the 14th minute of the contest, Furr netted the winning goal as well as her first goal of the season. The Stars? defense held strong throughout the game, holding the Cavaliers to only five shots.
The victory was OCU?s first SAC conference win and the squad?s second over St. Gregory?s, as the Stars defeated the Cavaliers, 5-3, in a non-league matchup in Oklahoma City on Sept. 16. Goalkeeper
