OKLAHOMA CITY – Oklahoma City University will offer a live video stream of its men’s soccer match against Huston-Tillotson (Texas) at 7 p.m. Saturday at Stars Field.
For $5.95, viewers can see the Stars’ season-opening match. To sign up for the video, click
here.

The broadcast has been made possible since the completion of construction last fall on the Jim Wade soccer press box, which includes public concessions and restrooms. A new ticket booth has been built, and a new scoreboard will be installed on the field.

Future soccer facility projects include the much-needed addition of field dugouts and men’s and women’s locker rooms. Fundraising for these efforts is ongoing.

OCU will offer broadcasts of most home matches this season and many more athletic events in 2010-11. The next OCU soccer broadcast will be Sept. 25 against Texas Wesleyan live from Stars Field. For $6.95, fans can get a package showing both the men’s and women’s soccer matches that day.

The OCU athletics web site is operated by Sidearm Sports, which operates 420 college athletic web sites around the country. OCU has been a Sidearm Sports client since 2007-08.
