LUBBOCK, Texas – Oklahoma City University took third place in the 4x400-meter relay on Saturday in the Texas Tech Open at the Athletic Training Center.

Randall Hairston, Tyrone Hawkins, Randy Lighteard and John Parks finished the race in 3 minutes, 16.22 seconds.

Parks also finished in eighth place in 400-meter dash with a time of 28.54 seconds.

Hawkins, a junior from St. Louis, took ninth place in the 600-yard run. Hawkins clocked a time of 1:13.45.

For the women, Shaquesha Dockins finished in 30th place in the 55-meter dash with a time 7.50 seconds. Hajr Hamin finished 34th in 7.64 seconds.

Both teams will be back in action next Saturday at the Oklahoma Christian Indoor Invitational in Norman, Okla.
