OKLAHOMA CITY – Oklahoma City University had the best wrestling media guide cover in Division C in 2009-10 as awarded by the College Sports Information Directors of America.
OCU’s media guides were produced by director of art and web services Kevin Miller and media relations specialist Rod Jones in the OCU communications department and director of athletic communications Rich Tortorelli and assistant sports information director Jeremy Stevens in the athletics department. Issei Aoyama designed the wrestling media guide cover.

OKLAHOMA CITY – State champion Hunter Muskrat of Stilwell, Okla., has signed a letter of intent to continue his wrestling career at Oklahoma City University.
OCU has also signed Jesse and Joey Davis of Stockbridge, Ga., and junior college all-Americans Stanley Lattimore of Athens, Ga., and Ruben Perez of Tampa, Fla.

OKLAHOMA CITY – Oklahoma City University has signed three-time state champion Kasey Jones of Battle Mountain, Nev., and state finalist Heath Boyd of Edmond, Okla., to its wrestling program.
The Stars have also added Nathan Oglesby of Weatherford, Texas, and Kevin Secrest of Pinellas Park, Fla., for the 2010-11 season.

OKLAHOMA CITY – Oklahoma City University has added five wrestlers to its 2010-11 class, highlighted by former high-school state finalists James Brigance of Talihina, Okla., and Bacone transfer Josh Stewart.

OKLAHOMA CITY – Nik Turner took fifth place at 157 pounds, and Corey Johnson finished seventh at 285 for Oklahoma City University on Saturday at Abe Lemons Arena in the 53rd annual wrestling championships.
Johnson and Turner both pinned their opponent. Turner, a junior from Norman, Okla., closed out his season with a fall in 1:23 over Dustin Center of Cumberlands (Ky.). Johnson, a senior from Oologah, Okla., ended his career with a pin over Bacone’s Jeremy Colbert in 4:15.

OKLAHOMA CITY – Corey Johnson and Nik Turner became two-time all-Americans for Oklahoma City University on Friday in the 53rd annual NAIA wrestling championships at Abe Lemons Arena.
Johnson and Turner are the Stars' fourth and fifth two-time all-Americans. The tournament concludes Saturday with the placing matches starting at 10 a.m. The championship finals will start at 6:30 p.m. and be available via live video by clicking here.

OKLAHOMA CITY – Three Oklahoma City University individuals went through the first day of the 53rd annual NAIA wrestling championships unbeaten Thursday at Abe Lemons Arena.

OSKALOOSA, Iowa – Nik Turner of Oklahoma City University captured the NAIA Central National Qualifying Group wrestling tournament championship at 157 pounds Saturday at the Penn Gymnasium.
The Stars’ Jeremy Garner at 141, Corey Johnson at 285 and Mark Meyer at 165 finished as runners-up within their brackets. OCU took third place in the team standings.
