BRISTOL, Tenn. – Oklahoma City University boasts the top ranking plus six No. 1-ranked individuals to aid in its quest for its fourth consecutive Women's College Wrestling Association championship.
The WCWA Championships will be contested 8 a.m. Oklahoma time Saturday at King College's Student Center Complex. The championship finals are set for 6 p.m.

OKLAHOMA CITY – Oklahoma City University ripped Oklahoma Christian 103-44 on Thursday at Abe Lemons Arena.
Lauren Gober, a junior from Newcastle, Okla., spearheaded OCU with 15 points, six rebounds, three assists and two steals. The Stars, ranked second in NAIA Division I women's basketball, upped their record to 18-1, 12-1 in the Sooner Athletic Conference.

OKLAHOMA CITY – Oklahoma City University fell to Oklahoma Christian 64-63 Thursday in an overtime thriller at Abe Lemons Arena.
Senior Shane Rogers buried a 3-pointer from the top of the key to bring OCU within one point with seven seconds to go in the game. After Will Reinke missed a pair of free throws, point guard Charlton Jones took the ball up the court and missed a runner from the right wing and the Stars fell 64-63.

OKLAHOMA CITY – Kidd Gomez's technical fall brought Oklahoma City University a 19-18 victory over Central Oklahoma on Wednesday at Abe Lemons Arena.
Gomez, a junior from Noble, Okla., defeated Ryan Brooks 18-3 at 125 pounds in the final match of the dual. Gomez's tech fall was the only one of the dual to provide the tiebreaker.

Mitcham became a three-time all-district setter for Fort Worth Paschal High School (Texas). Mitcham joins Norman North defensive specialist Tori Thomas as OCU volleyball signees for 2012.

OCU, ranked fifth in the NAIA, enters the dual with a 7-5 record. The Stars boast of seven ranked individuals, including top-ranked Kevin Hardy at 165 pounds and Nik Turner at 157.

HOUSTON – Oklahoma City University assistant cross country and track coach Camille Herron finished 26th at the 2012 Olympic Marathon Trials on Saturday.
Herron, seeded No. 38 going into the race, finished with a new personal record time of two hours, 37 minutes and 14 seconds.
